I’m Shaun, a scientist and science communicator, and I’ve been a fan of The X-Files since it first broadcast in Ireland, in 1994. I usually make podcasts about science, but I wanted to learn how a show about two FBI agents investigating the unexplained became a worldwide phenomenon that continues to shape popular culture more than 30 years after it first aired. So for Hey Danny, It’s Mulder, I chat with people who worked on the series, the films, and all the other projects that make up the expanded X-Files universe, like the comics, games, collectibles, books, and audio dramas. I hope this show will be a celebration of the work that goes into making great television, and of what I think is the best show of all-time.
